1st Andy’s Awards Let us introduce Andy’s Awards to the world. This half-yearly prize, in honour of our team leader Andy Shaw, has been created to praise the continuing achievements and outstanding performance of the Regional Training Centres. New RLDOs in Washington and New Delhi RTCs. We would like to welcome the newest additions to our expanding network, Alison Cooper and Heer Kansal, as RLDOs of Washington and New Delhi RTCs, respectively.
Alison Cooper has an extensive background in experiential learning, coaching and training. She has trained for over 12 years in the US and the UK, most recently with Kroll Government Services in Colorado where she developed and delivered training on the US national security clearance process. Alison holds a Bachelors Degree in Experimental Education and a passion for adult learning both in and out of the workplace. Alison loves spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, cycling and rock climbing.
Heer Kansal received a Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from National Council of Hotel Management Lucknow. Her experience in the Learning & Development field includes working in Manager Training & Organisational Development at Sodexho Services India Pvt. Ltd. where she had direct responsibility for the Training & Development and Quality Enhancement team which gave her a platform to learn and master her technical skills of training. Heer is a keen reader and enjoys interacting with people and helping others. “As a new member of the RTC network, I have received a warm welcome from the entire gang and I am excited to work with all. Apart from learning from people and resources around, it will always be my endeavour to give my best as a trainer and to prove to be an asset to the organisation”, said Heer. |

RLD Babies in the RTCs! New members have been added to our network lately. They are Juan Ignacio and Abena, son and daughter of Rosana Butron (RLDM Lima) and Eugenia Agyare-Dankyi (RLDC Accra), respectively. Congratulations to both mums having their first children! We also would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Julie Caroline (RLDO Pretoria) who gave birth Nathan last year. Which RTC will continue with this lovely “baby boom”?
